I remember you telling me that. But, man, that movie was amazing.
Well, maybe one day I’ll be bored enough to try again.
When Leonardo DiCaprio was still attached to the project, feminist activist Gloria Steinem lobbied him not to make the film, as his fan base consisted predominately of young teenage girls, and he could ruin his career. Steinem had spoken out about the novel several times and was against the film version in any incarnation. Her involvement is rendered especially interesting insofar as she would soon become Christian Bale’s stepmother.
The only parts of the movie that author Bret Easton Ellis didn’t like was Bateman’s moonwalk during Paul Allen’s murder-scene and the voice-over, which he felt was “too explicit”.

A look at some possible storylines for the upcoming film.
After years of waiting and weeding through the rumor mills, Mitch Hurwitz finally uttered words we longed to hear. Arrested Development, a show taken from us too soon, would finally be made into a movie. As fans started re-watching the series, they wondered what would happen when Arrested Development finally became a film. Although we probably won’t know until fall 2013 (provided Hurwitz can keep it under wraps), here are some things that this ADfan thinks may happen on the big screen… or at least what I’d love to see.

Just found out she was Linda in Enter the Void. That’s all I need to hear.
I never finished that movie! For some reason, I was really bored and sort of put off by the script.
